The technology we use at dentalhouse Woodbridge Dental helps us provide patients with the care they need, including digital X-rays and intraoral scanners.
Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
Our team at dentalhouse Woodbridge Dental leverages technology to help us plan treatments help your dental appointments run as efficiently as we can. Monitors in our treatment rooms are used to display digital X-rays and scans so you'll be able to see any issues in your mouth and understand your treatment plan.
We're on a mission to provide patients with dental care and keep them fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology helps us achieve this goal.
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays have replaced traditional photographic X-ray film to allow us to produce computer images of the teeth and gums. They also capture other oral structures and conditions. With X-rays, your dentist can examine parts of your mouth that won't be visible to the naked eye.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays help your dentist capture a single image of your entire mouth - a flat representation of your teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures. The dentist will often use these types of X-rays when planning treatments.
iTero Intraoral Scanners
The iTero® intraoral scanner is used to create digital dental impressions of your teeth, an alternative to traditional dental impressions that may be messy and time-consuming. They can help us diagnose various oral health issues and create appropriate treatment plans.
Digital Impressions
Your dentist can use optical scanning devices to produce computer-generated replicas of your mouth's hard and soft tissues. With these devices we're able to capture data and create digital dental impressions in as little as a few minutes - no traditional impression materials needed.
